Monte Naturista O Barão is located in the South West of Portugal between Lisbon and The Algarve and open whole year round. The beautiful, natural terrain of 7 hectares (17 acres) has many cork oaks, pine trees, eucalyptus and olive trees and lays in the wooded landscape of the The Alentejo Provence, where it seems as thought time was stood still.

Tourism has not discovered this region yet, therefore you can visit the most beautiful places in all tranquility. If you love space, tranquility and nature around you then discover the Alentejo.

The pitches are very spacious and natural. Water and electricity is available. There are pitches under the cork oaks or pine trees and pitches with lots of sunshine.

Monte Naturista is a good winter destination. The quiet campsite has spacious and sunny pitches and the weather is very pleasant during the winter. From February or March you are surrounded by a sea of colors because of flowering time. And when you are in the mood for reading in the sun, you can borrow a book from our library in the bar. Far away from industry and high buildings you can easily walk or cycle for hours in the vast forests around the terrain without seeing or hearing a person or a car.

We rent comfortable accomodation. We have a fine bath house, salt water swimming pool, bar and bistro with sauna, lounge and a big terrace with views over the beautiful surroundings. There are spacious, sunny and shady pitches with electricity and water. We have welcomed many friendly and satisfied guests and we are proud of this.
