Camping Playa Joyel

Playa Joyel is a first class campsite located on the edge of the beach with direct access to it.
We are in the town of Noja on Ris beach.

The Campsite is situated in the Nature Reserve of Trasmiera Ecopark.

The Campsite proposes a wide range of services to offer all their clients a very enjoyable stay: from the padel and tennis courts, swimming pools, sports fields, an outdoor exercise course, play areas, open-air barbecues, service stations for motor homes, a washing machine and dryer area, a kids club, and for the little ones’ enjoyment...an on-site animal park.

Our resort welcomes both families who wish to camp on the campsite or stay in a caravan as well as those families who prefer renting a bungalow or mobile home in a natural surrounding.

We have more than 100 rental accommodations located on the campsite so as to cover all the different needs of each family, from 1 bedroom lodgings to 3 bedroom ones.

Camping Playa Joyel is located on Ris beach, in the tourist town of Noja, within the Region of Trasmiera.

It is a wide shell-shaped beach. This enables people to enjoy more than 40,000 square metres of beautiful fine sand at low tide. When there are spring tides, the Island of San Pedruco can be accessed by foot. Here you can find a small medieval chapel, wild fig trees and thousands of seagulls.

The Island of la Oliva is next to this beach, and the rocks of Garfanta, Águila, and Moja de Rabo are located at the back. The promenade that goes along the coastline from this beach to the beach of Trengandín begins here. There are many coves along the route, which passes through a stunning pine forest and leads to idyllic places such as Punta de la Mesa or Pombera beach.

The Northern orientation of Ris beach means there are waves and therefore, surfing and other sports can be practiced. There is also a surf and Stand Up Paddle school, which provides lessons and hires out equipment.

Moreover, since our guests are staying at Camping Playa Joyel they enjoy the Nature Reserve of Las Marismas de Santoña, Victoria, and Joyel, a place created by the estuary formed by the River Asón and the marshlands of Victoria and Joyel.

Our Campsite has a private animal park to the delight of our smaller clients and toddlers. Among other native species can be admired cows, bulls, ducks, pygmy goats, deer, pigs, peacocks, ostriches, chickens and others.
