Situated in Lombardy, Lago di Endine in the province of Bergamo sits in a narrow valley. Surrounded by mountains, the lake is set among stunning natural beauty.
Endine Gaiano, Mosasterolo del Castello, Ranzanico and Spinone al Lago in the Vale Cavallina encircle Lago di Endine. Each town offers panoramic views of the lake. Ranzanico is home to S. Bernardino, a fifteenth century church. Spinone al Lago also has a pretty church, the thirteenth century San Pietro in Vincoli.
Fishing is popular on the lake, which also features small beaches and picnic areas along the shoreline. The lake is also an ideal place to see birds. Walkers can trek along the perimeter of the lake. Other popular activities include a variety of water sports such as sailing, canoeing, kayaking and windsurfing.
Lago di Gaiano is a small lake north-east of Endine Gaiano and a popular pike fishing. Bianzano is home to the medieval Suardi Castle overlooking the valley, as well as the Shine of Our Lady of the Assumption and the Saint Roch church.
