Travel tips
Situated in northern Italy between Trieste and Venice, Bibione is a beach town in Veneto. A popular seaside resort, the town offer visitors plenty of opportunities to experience the outdoors and the region’s culture.
When not relaxing on the beach, Bibione offers visitors fresh delicacies and local dishes to savour. Popular menu choices include asparagus, fresh fish and local wines. To burn off the calories, outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate a range of sport and recreation along the 14-kilometre long coast including beach volleyball.
There is great windsurfing, sailing and diving off the coast of Bibione. Local schools offer lessons for novices. On land, well-signposted walking and biking routes meander through pine groves and along the scenic coast.
The romance and history of Venice is just over an hour’s drive from Bibione. The stunning canals of the largely pedestrianised city make Venice one of the world's most distinctive destinations. Major sights include the tower and imposing basilica of San Marco Square, the Palazzo Ducale and the Rialto Bridge.
