The Palafavera campsite is situated in the high Val di Zoldo in the heart of the Dolomites, at 1514 metres above sea level. It is a huge natural park that extends over 50.000 mq with pitches for caravans and tents. Located in an enchanting setting below the Civetta mountain range, and the foot of the Pelmo Mountain - know as " Caregon del Padre Eterno" or the " Throne of God " to the local-, the area was designated a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in Juny 2009. The local area offers a wide variety of excursions, including refuges, mountain pastures and vie ferrate (climbing trails). It is part of the Civetta and Dolomites' Superski skiing zones and is equipped with a Nordic sky run of 7.5 km.

The campsite offers a high quality service in the open-air tourism sector.

Provided with lay-byes all with power supply, modernly equipped and heated up toilets, free showers, laundry, washing machines, dryers, foodstuff shop, refuge for meetings with fireplace, amusement arcade, soccer and volleyball ground, playground for children and wide spaces.
Two refuges with bedrooms, bar, restaurant and ski rent are next to the camping.With departure from the camping by a comfortable there and back service by bus and train, one can reach the fascinating city of Venice in a short time.

The camping has a strategic position as for excursions to the Civetta by normal path or via ferrata Alleghesi or also by the top of the Pelmo. For people in transit along the high route n°1 of the Dolomites, the camping is a point of support for supply before facing the last stretch of the route. Inserted in the ski area of the Civetta and Superski Dolomites, the camping is in direct connection with the ski facilities directly with skis in one's feet. For people fond of cross-country skiing there is a well-equipped cross-country skiing ring.
