The Campsite is immersed in a splendid pinegrove on the sea-shore and it is located in the centre of uncontaminated mediterranean shrubs and groves. The Etruria Campsite extends over a surface of over 30.000 sqm. The tall pine trees makes it shady and it has a dense vegetation of holm-oak, juniper and tamarisk. An easy cycle-lane in the pine grove links the campsite to the centre of Castiglione della Pescaia which is 800 metres away and Marina di Grosseto.

The direct entrance to the large and sandy beach allows a stay in complete harmony with nature, comfort, relax and to be on one of the most magnificient coast-lines of “Maremma”, where living in direct contact with examples of a still intact coast road vegetation with its very colourful blooms of the sea-camomile and elicriso. The spacious camping area is divided in two comfortable zones: a part for campers and caravans and the other for tents destinated to young people and youmg couples.

The surrounding nature, the mild climate and its pleasant breeze makes it an ideal place for water sports, sea-escursions and long walks on the beaches. Should one look out towards “Argentario” or towards the mediaeval fortress of “Castiglione” one can admire a unique and picturesque panorama from a distance either at dawn or dusk with the low-tide. During clear days the enchanting view of Corsica and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago stands out on the horizion.

Castiglione della Pescaia is one of the fewest municipal districts that has been distinguished several times during the past years both by the “Bandiera Blu” and the “Cinquevele di Legambiente”, in virtue of the pureness of the water, the cleanliness of the sea and the coast, the quality of service, the accomodation facilities for tourists, the vicinity of interesting historical, artistic and naturalist places to visit.
