The Costa Verde Holiday Village and Campground at Capo Vaticano is a small, independent vacation center on 16,000 square meters between Tropea and Capo Vaticano: the most prestigious stretch of the Calabrian Tyrrhenian coast.

Here the climate is dry and temperate even in July and August,and warm in all other months. The sea is renowned for its transparency and color, with water that has received the Environmental League`s European Blue Flag award for years. Ricadi and Capo Vaticano are places that have many times been recommended by the "Guida Blu" of the Italian Touring Club and by the "Lega Ambiente". "Les Grands Voyageurs", perhaps with an extra pinch of generosity, has described this whole stretch of coast as "one of the 100 most beautiful coasts in the world" and "one of the three most beautiful in Italy".

The area offers unforgettable views of the Stromboli volcano and nearby Aeolian Islands. Almost daily there are unforgettable sunsets over these and over Sicily and Etna, all quite visible from here.

Nearby on the same beach, visitors will find independent and outside boat rental services, scuba diving schools, diving and sailing clubs, and more. Within 2 km inland, there are tennis courts and riding schools. Also within 2km. inland one can find numerous restaurants, pizza bars, supermarkets, tennis courts and riding schools.

The campsites, apartments and cottages (all masonry) are between 20 and 60 meters from the beach.
The absolute absence of roads, railways and towns guarantees tranquillity and safety for children.

There are organised games and entertainment between June 15th and September; this is included in the prices and is discrete and never invasive: definitely not suited to lovers of chaos and confusion!

With the spartan style typical of the great outdoors, the joint family management is geared to providing facilities which are functional and ongoing at all hours (reception, bar, minimarket, restaurant, entertainment), with special attention being paid to the needs of the holiday makers, and to the final cost of the holiday, and also to cleanliness, order and good manners.

Within the boundaries of the holiday village-campsite there are strict rules to be respected with regard to peace and quiet, privacy and good neighbourliness.

Throughout the entire season, under no circumstances are guests allowed to receive visitors.
Entrance to and stay within the holiday village-campsite is the exclusive right of registered clients of the village-campsite only.
