Welcome to our family campsite Mohrenhof Franken! True to our motto "Feel the Camp", our campsite is located directly on a bathing pond, nestled in the wonderful landscape. Thanks to our total of 18 different pitch categories and many different types of accommodation, there is something for everyone.

We are happy to offer you a temporary home in the heart of Franconia all year round!

Book a camping experience according to your ideas and wishes. Whether with a caravan, camper or tent - our categories offer space for all types of campers. We have a wide range of pitches for this - from paved panoramic pitches with electricity, water and drainage to simple meadow pitches, we have everything on offer. We also offer a wide range of accommodation - from simple sleeping barrels to the Woodspace family lodge with a great view and large terrace.

Our trademark are the fire bowls in Mohrenhof design, which adorn the majority of our campsite. Firewood is available at reception.


Food options:
The campsite's own restaurant "SeeKneipe" with its large beer garden serves delicious fresh and other specialties. Early in the morning you can get fresh baked goods from our artisan baker Striffler in the "Lädchen" every day. You can also buy juices, coffee, sweets, camping supplies and everyday products there.
Between May and mid-September, our BeachBar at our wake park with beach is also open. There you can get cocktails, cold soft drinks, beer, pizza or tarte flambée and enjoy them with your feet in the sand.

Activities:
You have plenty of opportunities to let off steam at our sports and games facilities. We offer pedal cars, archery courses, handicrafts with the alpacas or alpaca hikes, pony rides, adventure golf and, between May and mid-September, a wake park and aqua park. You can experience the classic "Mohrenhof feeling" during the evenings together with bread on sticks at the fire bowls (you can of course also light a fire just for yourself in your fire bowls on site)

The Mohrenhof as a starting point for your excursions:
We are an ideal starting point to Romantic Franconia. In our surroundings you will find the medieval town of Rothenburg o.d. Tauber, as well as the towns of Dinkelsbühl, Nürnberg, Würzburg and Bad Windsheim with the Frankentherme and the artificial salt lake. Further highlights are the Franconian Heath Nature Park and the lovely Tauber Valley.

Pitches in general:
Each of our pitches has electricity or water nearby and is usually equipped with our typical Mohrenhof fire bowls. The pitches are mostly accessible via paved / asphalted paths.



Our most popular pitch categories at a glance:
- Panorama terraces: The pitches are located directly on our elevated terraces and therefore offer a fantastic view over our campsite and are perfect for experiencing beautiful sunrises and sunsets. You are on grass here, but also have an asphalted area for an awning. The pitches here are also equipped with direct electricity, water and waste water connections. Cars can be parked directly on the pitch. In the category „Panorama Terraces Meadow“ you are exclusively on grass. (Suitable for motorhomes and caravans)
- In the middle: These pitches are perfect for families as they are easily accessible and very centrally located between the restaurant „SeeKneipe“ and the SanitärOase. In addition, there is a playground with our swimming pond very close by. Here you are pitched on grass with a paved area for an awning. There is electricity and water at every pitch. You can park your car directly on the pitch. (Suitable for motorhomes and caravans)
- Campfire: Here you are right next to our SanitärOase on a large meadow. The pitches are usually divided into 4-person units including a central supply column with connections for fresh water and electricity. The car can be parked directly on the pitch. (Suitable for motorhomes, caravans and tents)
- Gmiadli pitch: This pitch is exclusively asphalted and offers a great, elevated view of the beautiful surrounding area. It is equipped with connections for fresh water and electricity. The car can be parked directly on the pitch. (Particularly suitable for motorhomes and vans)
- Rondelle: These circular pitches are perfect for groups and each offer 7-8 pitches on grass. You can stand in a circle and use the inner area together. The connections for fresh water and electricity are centrally located in the middle of the circle. The car can be parked directly on the pitch. (Suitable for campers, caravans and tents)
- Am Birkenweg: At this pitch, you are located between three roundels on the meadow. Connections for electricity and water are also available. You can park your car directly on the pitch. (Suitable for campers, caravans and tents)
- Ziegenhof/Schafweide: The pitches are perfect for relaxed and authentic camping. You can select several pitches per booking. Connections for electricity are available within a radius of less than 20 meters. The car can be parked directly at the pitch. (Suitable for campers, caravans and tents)
- At the wakepark: You can park on a meadow right on the shore of the wakepark facility, close to our beach bar. Connections for electricity and fresh water are available. Sanitary facilities are located directly at the BeachBar. Cars can be parked directly on the pitch. (Suitable for campers, caravans and tents)
- Group tents / Wiesnkuschler: The pitches are located on a large meadow and are designed exclusively for camping. You can choose several pitches per booking. Electricity is available everywhere, if necessary with an extension cable. The car cannot be parked directly on the pitch.
- Passage pitches: We also offer paved transit pitches on Split near the reception and SeeKneipe. These places are accessible at any time of day or night for spontaneous transit. Connections for fresh water and electricity are available. You can remain hitched up as a caravan. (Suitable for campers and caravans traveling through)



Pitches near our alpacas:
- At the alpaca stable: Here you can stand on grass or gravel and experience our alpacas up close (our accommodation „Zirkuswägen“ is also available for this purpose). Fresh water, electricity and waste water are available directly at the site. The car can be parked directly at the site. (Suitable for campers, caravans and tents)
- The Wiesn: These pitches are easily accessible and are centrally located between the alpaca stable and the SanitärOase in the immediate vicinity of the playground and the bathing pond. Here you stand on grass. They are also equipped with two central barbecue areas. You can park your car directly on the pitch. (Suitable for campers, caravans and tents)

Our accommodation at a glance:
- Sleeping area: The sleeping areas offer space for 2 people and are equipped with a large bed including storage space, two benches and an extendable table. The adjoining wooden pavilions, each with two benches and a table, invite you to enjoy meals or games evenings together.
- Tiny Houses: The mini houses "Max" & "Moritz" offer space for up to 4 people and are also equipped with sleeping facilities, a modern kitchen and a small bathroom. The spacious terrace is ideal for sociable evenings outdoors.
- Circus hut: Here you can sleep right next to the alpacas and have breakfast together with them on the terrace. There is a fireplace right in front of the small veranda.
- Schäferwagen: This is located on our terraces, which is why you have a great view of the nearby surroundings.
- Hütten: On the campsite category "Die Wiesn" you will find spacious, simple Übernachtungs-Hütten with space for up to 8 people. Beer tent sets are set up in the entrance area.
- Wood_Spaces: The lodges are made of solid wood and are also located on the elevated terraces. You will find everything you need for a break in nature in the high-quality accommodation: a kitchen, sleeping facilities, modern bathrooms and a wooden terrace with a wonderful view of the landscape. You can choose between different sizes: from the small accommodations AM ECK & UMS ECK to the large family lodge STERNBLICK.
- Mobile homes: Our Savannah and Taos accommodation offers space for 4-5 people and is equipped with a state-of-the-art American kitchen including sleeping facilities and functional bathrooms. However, if you want to get that real camping feeling, you can stay in our Malibu mobile home with an integrated caravan as a sleeping area. It is also equipped with a kitchen and a small bathroom.
