This campsite is located near the top of the hill above the Groviera valley. Much of the site is for caravans and static bungalows (which seem to be holiday / weekend places for Switzerland), but there is a small selection of touring pitches.
The site is perfectly clean; the views are fantastic; the site pool is quiet (we were often the only people in it); and everything is well taken care of and neat.
From the site you can walk to a wood full of sculptures of the beautiful chainsaw bas-reliefs, or in another wood with a nature trail and a climb up to the tribune on the Gibloux tower (incredible views). Arriving by car and a wide range of attractions fall within easy reach: the market town of Bulle; the picturesque village of Groviera and its cheese factory; the village of Charmay with an incredible Spa and a 'Go-Ape' with attitude (Charmay Aventures); and the chocolate factory in Broc just to name a few.
