Camping Waldhort, on the outskirts of Basel, is quiet, well maintained and has an area of ​​33,000 m2 on 135 permanent camper parcels. The rest of the place is reserved exclusively for tourists. The place offers modern toilets, a shop with snack corner, a large playground for children, two swimming pools, etc. It takes place during the season (from the beginning of March to the end of October) by a full-time field assistant.

It was founded in 1946 as an association based in Basel. Since then he has campaigned for the interests of camping sports, especially in north-western Switzerland.

In addition, the CCBB is affiliated to the Swiss Camping & Caravanning Association (SCCV), which defends the interests of the campsite nationally and internationally.

Currently, the CCBB has about 500 members who spend their free time among nature lovers in a tent, caravan or camper. It manages two camp campsites, namely the Waldhort in Reinach / BL and Pontoye near St. Ursanne.
